Gratitude
Gratitude is not a thought or feeling, but a state of being. To decide you are grateful is to leap into the warm ocean of self realization head first, trusting that the lightness of your being is buoyant enough to float over the density of pain and fear. I desire to remember my gratitude in moments of doubt; to reaffirm my love daily for the people who play roles in my life just by being themselves, whom I learn countless lessons with.
